Narvik Top Station

Narvik Gondola Station is the mountain top station of a gondola line at a ski resort above the city of Narvik, Norway. The station offers a sheltered space where visitors and skiers board and leave the gondola, and it organises the flow of people. Interpretation of Romanesque

Interpretation Centre of Romanesque is an exhibition centre located in the village of Lousada, Portugal. The building consists of seven exposed concrete volumes of different heights, and each volume forms a separate exhibition space. Each ceiling reinterprets a roof type from Romanesque architecture. The wood-textured concrete facades recall the stone and wood of older local buildings.

Samaranch Memorial Museum

Samaranch Memorial

Samaranch Memorial is a museum built to commemorate Samaranch and to present the Olympic spirit. The design is derived from the five Olympic rings. Two intersecting circles form the main building, while three further circles become sunken courtyards that hold additional sporting spaces. The infinity shaped form contains a ramping loop that links the entrance, exhibition areas, roof gardens and service functions in one sequence. The memorial also includes a lecture hall, a temporary exhibition hall and a winter garden. Daylight was studied in detail to reduce energy use.

Warm Transparency Clinic

Warm Transparency

Conventionally, a hospital tends to be a space that has poor natural color or material due to artificial structure material to improve the functionally and the efficiency. Therefore, patients feel that they are being apart from their daily life. A consideration for a comfortable environment where patients can spend and free from stress, should be taken. TSC architects provide an open, comfortable space by setting an L-shaped open ceiling space and the large eaves by using a plenty of wood material. The warm transparency of this architecture connects people and medical services.

BaseCamp Lyngby Student Housing

BaseCamp Lyngby

BaseCamp Lyngby is a student housing campus built on a relatively flat site within a green neighborhood in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. The building rises gradually from ground level to a maximum height of six floors. A serpentine path runs along the full length of the roof, where gardens and small trees form a park-like landscape open to residents and visitors. The curved form wraps around several small courtyards, creating defined and intimate spaces where students can meet, read or relax. The green roof also buffers rainwater and reduces energy use.
