Disappeared Manufacturing Sales Centre

Disappeared Manufacturing

Disappeared Manufacturing is a sales centre built in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. River Sea Villa

River Sea

River Sea is a villa located on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The site lies near the mouth of a river, and the axis of the plan runs from north to south toward the water. The building is divided into three parts: an entrance building, a guest building and a main building. Two courtyards separate the three parts, and a path connects them. Along the path, the boundary between inside and outside becomes soft. The walls are covered with border tiles made from local Awaji roof tiles. The single storey limits the effect on the surroundings.

Casa Acqua Residential House

Casa Acqua

Casa Acqua is a residential house built in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The layout follows early Roman dwellings, with four modules arranged around an inner courtyard. The courtyard is surrounded by water mirrors that recall a central fountain. All modules are fully open to allow natural ventilation and daylight, so air conditioning is not required. Vertical awnings and windshields provide privacy and protection from sun, rain, insects and strong winds. Prefabricated modules shortened construction time and reduced waste. The total area is two hundred and ten square meters.

The Gaiety Sales Center

The Gaiety

The Gaiety is a sales center built in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China. The main building covers 500 square meters and is shaped by three-dimensional folding techniques. The roof is folded so that the northwest corner drops to form a double-sloping roof, while the northeast corner rises to mark the hall entrance. Stone curtain walls are combined with glass curtain walls, and the roof marble is beveled so that roof and wall read as one surface. A water surface reflects the building, and the divided blocks form a courtyard that separates two functions.

The Farmhouse Residential Architecture

The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is an example of the transformation of a typical rural homestead into a residential mansion. In the place of five existing farm buildings scheduled for demolition, the project team proposed five contemporary farm buildings. The newly designed forms have a shape, which results from the reference to the existing farm layout, terrain, view axes, functional needs, division into residential zones and location of trees.
