Gaofuli Super Highrise Buildings

Gaofuli

Gaofuli is a high-rise mixed-use building in Shanghai, China. The building stands near heritage conservation districts and Yanzhong Greenland, with an eastward visual link to a central city landmark. The design draws on traditional Shikumen architecture through vertical compositions, polygonal outlines, and softened corners with chamfered and tapered forms. The facade combines copper-toned metals with warm ceramic-like panels. The east and south sides bring in daylight and views, while the partly elevated ground floor places the entrance and drop-off area on the north side.

M1 and M2 Multi Residential House

M1 and M2

M1 and M2 are two residential towers built as part of a larger urban development in Mississauga, Canada. M1 has 61 storeys and 780 units, while M2 has 62 storeys and 793 units. Each tower is formed from seven typical floor plate shapes that are skewed and rotated, so the corners shift about one metre from the floor below. Short shear walls follow the shift, which keeps the room layouts regular. A faceted glass podium carries a green roof and a south facing outdoor amenity space at ground and roof level.

Jiangnan No.1 Courtyard

Entry Building to Sberbank

Entry Building to Sberbank is an entrance building for two adjoining high-rise office towers in Moscow. The building encloses the space between the towers with a hyperbolic paraboloid form, built from 29 steel arches and covered by a glazed triangulated roof.
