Open Village is an arthouse renovated from a decommissioned factory. While the brick façade of the cinema established a visual coherence with the neighboring urban fabric, the cinema’s irregular form and polychromatic exterior instilled the creative space with vibrancy. This new landmark became the cultural destination for events within the village where the cinema is situated.
Continue readingThe Mountain House in Mist combines traditional culture and modern design through new application of traditional materials, transformation of the roof, and use of translucent polycarbonate board on the Facades. In the daytime, light creates a translucent atmosphere indoor, while at night, the light sneaks out and the book house becomes a visual center. The book house was built to provide a space for to read and to calm down, so as to attract more young people and children back to the mountains.
Continue readingLocated in the image display position of the industrial park. The complex is an office tower of 197.5m, with a podium mall. With bamboo inspiration, architecture adopts segmented method to unify the whole function. Multiple sky gardens spread along the podium and tower, creating habitable spaces and multifunction and exhibition areas. Landscaped staircase creates an exhibition space for cultural events on podium, that blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior.
Continue readingThe Exhibition Center is located in Huangdao District, Qingdao. To its west is Mount Dazhu, and to its east is Lingshan Bay, facing the Yellow Sea. It is a new industrial park specializing in the marine industry and smart technology. The Exhibition Center is not only a core building of the new district, but is also representative of the image and position of the entire intelligent park, and has unique importance. Main roads, metro tracks, and other large-scale urban features form the background of the Exhibition Center.
Continue readingIt located in Portillo Beach, Las Terrenas. The housing of 850 square meters of construction has a high-end finish. The design is based on the integrity of the materials and how they blend into the Caribbean beach landscape: the natural gypsum floor, the unpolished travertine stone floor, coral stone and aluminum with wood finish, among others. The design design consists of a combination of different textures, elements and volumes. This manages to be balanced and with a good management of the materiality, being distinctive in its facades the concrete in its natural state.

Located in the heart of Chongqing's financial district, the project is surrounded on three sides by parks with a commanding 270 degree view of the river. The project is envisioned to be a "City in the Clouds"- with the "clouds" being interpreted as the podium, which brings together the complexities of various functions behind a combination of horizontal metal lines and ultra-clear glass, creating a backdrop of light, shadows, reflections that changes throughout the day.
