Sile Binicilik Tesisi

Sile Binicilik Merkezi is located in Sile, Istanbul, on a 33.453 meter square land, in the forest. The inspiration point of the project was nature and blending contemporary, functional architecture with nature. As illustrated, both the L-shaped stable blocks and the walker in the middle of the blocks are designed to be connected. The specially designed entrance of the indoor area, the extended eaves and wooden column claddings in the stables, the clubhouse, and its terrace with a stream view do provide a pleasant experience for its visitors.

Mijan

Drawing inspiration from local buildings with sloping roofs, this architectural design blends traditional and modern elements. The wooden sloping roof provides a cozy atmosphere inside and a striking shape outside. Adding modern touches created a design that harmoniously blends with the surroundings. The solid form feels powerful and safe, while the fluid and corner shapes, warm colors, and unique floor materials inside create a cozy feel. The second conventional area elevates the viewer's eye level, presenting different points of view.

The biggest challenge of the project has been to reduce the cluster of geometries and to emphasize the constructive principle of the building by making some spatial and organizational improvements of the interior.

Coexisting With Nature

This dental clinic was created using a design method that takes advantage of the vegetation, height difference, and depth of the existing land. TSC Architects wanted to design a clinic where patients can experience nature as if they were taking a walk on the road. They planned to leave the trees as much as possible, arrange the functions of the clinic to match the characteristics of the land, and connect them with corridors and multiple roofs. By setting the height of the floor at the center of the height difference on the site, people can feel a sense of floating and sinking into the ground.

Grand Copacabana

The Grand Copacabana project was developed from the search for a dialogue between architecture and the city, focusing on the integration between the city and the user. The result was a mixed-use building in which the commercial part does not clearly distinguish between private and public areas, making the building an extension of the sidewalk. The ground floor seeks to be an extension of Avenida Benjamim Constant. The apartments, on the other hand, have large balconies that act as large frames for the outside, providing a privileged view of the city.
