KDU Campus Center

The Kanagawa Dental University Campus Center embodies a philosophy of Gentle Architecture, merging functional spaces for staff and students with communal areas under a generous, cloud-like roof. The use of colored concrete and a landscape that softens boundaries with the surrounding park fosters a welcoming environment. The Campus Center, designed to be the foyer of the campus and the city, aims to revitalize campus life and open the university to the community, making it a place where everyone can easily gather and engage in various activities.

Single Wall

Structured by a single architectural gesture, an 80 meter long pressed bamboo wall, the Single Wall Residence achieves clarity through simplicity. This linear element organizes the program, separates uses, conceals services, and supports the suspended volume of bedrooms. The design dissolves into the tropical landscape, prioritizing openness and visual continuity. Material honesty, formal precision, and spatial fluidity converge to create an immersive, barrier free experience, where architecture becomes an extension of nature.

Sreed Ebisu T

This project is a nine story office building in central Tokyo that aims to create a new prototype for urban timber architecture. The proposal was a hybrid structure of a steel post and beam frame and timber seismic frames inserted into it. This timber frame, named seismic timber lattice shell, is not only a structural but also an interior element to realize new workspaces where people can work in a more relaxed mode, enjoying the spatial value of the timber construction.

Zen House

Zen House is a refined example of minimalist design, where light, water, and space shape a calm and cohesive living environment. A pool anchors the home's layout, complemented by the presence of an olive tree that brings a natural focal point. Thoughtful material choices and clean architectural lines support a sense of clarity and quiet. Every detail contributes to a sense of purposeful stillness, where nothing feels excessive and everything has its place. In this way, Zen House becomes a quiet refuge, attuned to both its inhabitants and its natural surroundings.

Twist Bridge

The pedestrian overpass of Huagai Mountain on Daliang Street, Shunde, is presented to the citizens in a light, silk-like form. The streamlined railing design of the bridge guides the visual extension of pedestrians on the bridge, and its unique spatial form allows vehicles driving under the bridge to capture the rhythm evolution of the building volume at different distances. At the same time, this bridge connects the park walkways of Huagai Mountain and Fengling Mountain, creating a walking network for citizens to get close to nature and move between the city and the mountains.

M1 and M2

At its core, M City is designed to deliver a world class urban experience that prioritizes walkability, livability and a strong public realm. The community is anchored by M1 and M2, two landmark towers that serve as a dramatic eastern gateway to the city center. The towers, intended as the highest part of the whole M City development, will have a unique geometry that redefines Mississauga's skyline and befitting its role as a beacon for the entire area. Its characteristic undulating geometric presence is a series of twisted horizontal bands that form the entire shaft of the tower.
