Oiso Hillside

The architect have taken the shape of the land around the villa as an inspiration, the sensation is that it flows with the scenery, enhancing rather than disturbing it. There is a good translation of those dynamic surroundings inside the villa in a compelling space with skipped floors, soaring a 2-story ceiling over a sunken conversation place and a 3-level deck. The panoramic nature views can be enjoyed from every point of the house. The architect has preferred to use in the interior mainly soft, natural materials like wood and has managed to give his personal touch with few antique pieces.

Ice and Fire

The site of this project faces directly the unmistakable local volcano Mt Yotei. Named Fire and Ice Chalet, this concept is inspired by this fire burning volcano covered with snow in winter and represents the contrast between Northern Japan's harsh winter and the warmth and comfort expected in ski resort's chalets. The shape of the roof and the side walls reproduces the image of two human hands joined at their fingers. The design captures the feeling of sipping on a hot cocoa on a comfortable sofa next to a wood burning fireplace while enjoying the view of the snow-blanketed volcano.

Rebirth of The Rust Belt

The conference center of the Global Industrial Internet Conference is located in Shenyang, a traditional heavy industry city which known as the Rust Belt in China. The building is a part of effort to revive the city. It mainly divided into two parts, the conference part and the exhibition part. The conference part is designed in a cylindrical shape, which has a similar volume and texture to the factory facilities that once existed in the area. The exhibition part with aluminum panel curtain wall creates technological appearance, which bring a new visual experience to the old industrial area.

Dongguan Riverside

The project is located in Xincheng District, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China. It is a sports center that integrates residents' cultural activities, healthy sports, and livable waterfront life from multiple angles. The vision of the project is to turn the green sports center into a natural oxygen bar on the corner of the city, integrating fitness, sports, parking, and transportation hubs into one. Dissolve the building volume, integrate the landscape into life, and make the design deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

Espaco Com Viver

Smart consumption is a new luxury and connects the past with the present by using traditional and artisanal techniques with technology. This antagonism between craftsmanship and technology is necessary to serve an increasingly demanding and conscious society. Justifying the use of rustic elements from memories and origins, in a contemporary and sophisticated environment, with a simple and pure trait, taking advantage of coatings that refer to vernacular construction methods, combining technology with affective memory.

The project features a 268m high tower, which is intended to offer unparalleled office space and luxury hotels in Eastern China and to drive the prosperity of Haining by redefining its city skyline. The unique formal design of the tower building and its distinctive Sky Lobby and Sky Observatory create a captivating landmark in downtown Haining. Embracing the glorious cityscape outdoors, the project will promote and witness the city's vigorous future growth.
