Schmiedhof Alm

On the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See, the existing Schmiedhof Alm was dismantled and rebuilt as an Alpine restaurant with seating for 200 guests. The design concept is based on the addition of volumes in various forms: The traditional ski hut with a pitched roof in timber acts as a guest room and the inserted concrete cube with a flat roof houses the canteen. Multiple bay windows thrust out from the façade, providing seating niches with spectacular views of the mountains.

This house is the challenge to prevent a cancer using the natural power in Shimokita Peninsula in Japan. In a word, this house provides the same feeling as forest bathing, and adopts technique to create immunity to overcome a cancer cell as much as possible. This residence will be helpful for improving health condition of people.

The Cutting Edge

The cutting Edge is a dispensing pharmacy related to the neighboring Daiichi General Hospital in Himeji City, Japan. In this type of pharmacies the client doesn’t have direct access to the products as in the retail type; rather his medicines will be prepared in the backyard by a pharmacist after presenting a medical prescription. This new building was designed to promote the image of the hospital by introducing a High-tech sharp image in accordance with an advanced medical technology. It results in a white minimalistic but fully functional space.

A House

The 'A House' celebrates interaction between families and neighbors while maintaining a strong sense of privacy and of ownership. Therefore the 'A House' is a place where degree of privacy is maintained with openings and A-shaped natural light that goes into continuous merged spaces by starting from one light at the top then spreading out as it goes through two bottom openings under the A-shaped roof also.

Casa Chiavelli

The transformation of an old farming house with the annex placed among the hills of the countryside in the north part of the Veneto region in Italy into a contemporary living home, without loosing the peculiarity of the original architecture was the task with which we confronted with. The intervention, very respectful of the original materials introduces few new material and re create new spaces accordingly to the desires and needs of the family.
